At Day of Decor TX, we believe your event should feel just like you—beautiful, personal, and completely one-of-a-kind. We work closely with our clients to bring their vision to life with thoughtfully curated rentals and décor that make every celebration uniquely yours.

Our extensive rental collection includes vintage china, colorful goblets, glassware, lounge areas, furniture, and event décor—perfect for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, and all of life’s special celebrations.

To make your planning experience as seamless and stress-free as possible, we also offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services, so you can spend less time worrying about the details and more time enjoying your event.

And our inventory? It changes daily! Just ask my delivery driver—ha-ha! If you’re looking for something you don’t see on our website, send us a message. There’s a good chance we have exactly what you’re looking for tucked away somewhere in our warehouse.

Hi, I'm Shelley

I’m the owner, designer, collector, treasure hunter, and occasional “I absolutely have a place for that” decision-maker behind Day of Decor TX.

Long before Day of Decor TX, I spent nearly 20 years building houses and designing homes. I loved taking an empty space and figuring out how to make it beautiful, welcoming, and full of personality. Somewhere along the way, that love of design found its way into weddings and events — and, as they say, the rest is history.

Today, in addition to Day of Decor TX, I help manage a historic wedding venue, which has given me the opportunity to see this industry from just about every angle. I’ve worked alongside some incredibly talented planners, coordinators, florists, photographers, caterers, DJs, bakers, and other wedding professionals. I’ve learned something from every single one of them, and I continue to be inspired by the creativity they bring to each event.

And perhaps most importantly, I’ve learned that creating a beautiful wedding is never about just one person or one vendor.

It’s a collaboration.

Your florist may have a vision for the flowers. Your planner knows how the entire day needs to flow. Your photographer sees things through a completely different lens. Your caterer needs the tables to function beautifully as well as look beautiful. And my job is to work alongside all of them to help bring your vision together.

Because at the end of the day, it isn’t about my style.

It’s about yours.

My collection has grown to include everything from vintage mismatched goblets and elegant place settings to backdrops, statement pieces, lounge furniture, linens, centerpieces, and all those little finishing touches that somehow make everything come together. I’m constantly collecting, rearranging, dreaming up something new, and finding pieces I probably didn’t technically need — but knew somebody’s wedding absolutely did.

I especially love pieces with a little age, a little personality, and a story to tell. I don’t believe everything has to match perfectly to be beautiful. Sometimes the most memorable spaces are the ones that feel as though they were collected over time.

Whether your style is romantic and timeless, colorful and fun, vintage and collected, simple and elegant, or something we haven’t even dreamed up yet, I want to help you create a day that feels unmistakably you.

After all these years of designing homes, weddings, and celebrations, I still get excited when all the little pieces finally come together.
